New Balance Celebrates the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon with Activations and Community Experiences Across the City

New Balance is excited to unveil its official celebration of the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon 2025 TCS New York City Marathon—the best day of the year, in the best city in the world, produced by nonprofit New York Road Runners— featuring a vibrant blend of community activations, immersive brand experiences and impactful citywide takeovers that honor the spirit of the marathon and shines a light on the runners who make it legendary. 

As the Official Athletic Footwear and apparel partner of New York Road Runners. New Balance will host a pop-up experience at the Run House (214 Lafayette Street) and will come alive with a cafe, recovery stations, hair stylists, music, and customization stations for runners and spectators to enjoy. On Friday, Oct. 31 from 12:00pm-5:00pm the space will open its doors to runners and spectators for an energetic day to kick off the weekend. On Saturday, Nov. 1 from 8:00am-3:00pm, the space will come alive starting at 8:00am with a shakeout run led by Believe in the Run across the Williamsburg bridge followed by the same lineup of immersive activations.  

On race day, New Balance will continue to bring energy to the city with a Cheer Zone at Mile 24, offering support to runners with a live DJ as they make their final push to the finish line. Post-race, New Balance will host a celebration of the finishers at Haswell Greens, welcoming finishers and fans to honor their achievement.

The official 2025 TCS New York City Marathon Collection which spans apparel, accessories and limited-edition colorways of the FuelCell Rebel v5 and FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5 can be purchased at the NYRR RunCenter Featuring the New Balance Run Hub, New Balance Flatiron, New Balance Upper East Side, New Balance Upper West Side, New Balance SoHo (set to opened Oct. 23), and www.newbalance.com. The apparel in the collection ranges from suggested retail prices of $30-$150, and footwear ranges from suggested retail prices of $155 to $265.   

The brand will come to life at all five retail locations in unique ways to offer the running community a variety of experiences to support runners and spectators through race day. Programming will vary by store location starting on: 

  • Friday, Oct. 31 from 11:00am-6:00pm, enjoy singlet customizations, shoe cleaning, and sign making at the NYRR RunCenter Featuring the New Balance Run Hub  

  • Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 from 11:00am-7:00pm, runners and spectators can stop by New Balance Flatiron’s kiosk for goodies to get runners prepped for race day.   

  • Sunday, Nov. 2 from 11:00am-6:00pm, stop by New Balance Upper West Side for flowers and notes to gift runners to celebrate their achievement.  

Starting mid-October, New Balance will blanket the city with out-of-home advertisements including a Columbus Circle takeover, hundreds of digital screens lining the marathon route and two 3D billboards in midtown Manhattan.  In addition, New Balance will have print, social, and broadcast advertising running in various publications in the weeks leading up to and after the race.
