New contract for Barbour
Kobe Barbour has signed a new contract, committing his future to Chelsea for at least another three years.
The attacking midfielder, who has featured in both a central and wide role for our Academy, has agreed to extend his deal with the Blues until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Barbour has progressed through the ranks at Cobham since joining us at Under-8s level. He was part of the sides which won the Under-16 Premier League and Under-17 Premier League Cup in 2024, before joining our Under-18s full-time last season.
During the current campaign, Barbour has featured in every Under-18s game across all competitions and marked his UEFA Youth League debut for our Under-19s with a goal in the 5-2 win over Benfica, as well as making his first appearance for the Under-21s in the EFL Trophy.
