NPR and Anonymous Content Bring Tiny Desk Concert Series to Brasil

NPR and Anonymous Content Brazil are proud to announce Tiny Desk Brasil, the latest international edition of the iconic Tiny Desk concert series by NPR. This new edition will offer the same intimate live performances that define NPR’s Tiny Desk while showcasing the rich diversity and creativity of Brazilian music.

Tiny Desk Brasil was developed through a licensing agreement between NPR and Anonymous Content Brazil. Anonymous Content Brazil is Anonymous Content’s joint venture, with an investment from Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The series will premiere on October 7th.

Similar to the original Tiny Desk in NPR’s Washington, DC headquarters, the shows are recorded live in front of an audience at the Google office in São Paulo. Artist performances are selected and produced by Anonymous Content Brazil and Amabis with input from NPR Music. The shows will publish on an exclusive channel on YouTube.

Tiny Desk Brasil is the third international edition of NPR’s Tiny Desk, following the launches of Tiny Desk Japan and Tiny Desk Korea. In its first year, Tiny Desk Brasil plans to produce two seasons of five episodes each.

From rising stars to global icons, artists perform stripped-down sets behind the Desk at the NPR headquarters. By focusing on raw, unfiltered artistry, Tiny Desk has redefined what live performance can be.
