The 69th edition of the prestigious Ballon d’Or awards ceremony was held on Monday 22 September at the iconic Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

Presented annually since 1956 by France Football, the Ballon d’Or is the most prestigious individual accolade in football, celebrating exceptional talent and outstanding achievements.

Since last year, the awards have been co-organised by UEFA and Groupe Amaury, owner of France Football and L’Équipe.

The list of prizes presented during this year’s ceremony included the Men’s and Women’s Ballon d’Or, the Men’s and Women’s Johan Cruyff Trophy (best coach), the Men’s and Women’s Kopa Trophy (best young player), the Men’s and Women’s Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), the Men’s and Women’s Gerd Müller Trophy (top scorer), the Men’s and Women’s Club of the Year, as well as the Sócrates Award (solidarity action).
