Aon Launches Specialist Claims Solutions to Help Insurers Drive Profitability in a Volatile Market
New offering supports insurer clients to reduce claims leakage and optimize capital
Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, has launched Specialist Claims Solutions to help insurers navigate the increasingly complex claims landscape to better serve their customers, drive profitable growth and reduce loss ratios.
Insurers are under increasing pressure to improve financial performance across their claims functions but face resource limitations, uncertainty on how to best integrate digital and AI technology and complex processing challenges. Together these result in cost leakage throughout the claims cycle.
Specialist Claims Solutions provides an end-to-end service across the claims process, including leakage diagnostics, claims administration/run-off services, debt recovery and commutations and inwards claims handling support.
In addition, Aon has formed an exclusive collaboration with ARMStrong Insurance Services, a leading provider of innovative claims audit and recovery services to the property and casualty industry. Through two of its operating companies — SubroIQ and Paragon Deductibles — ARMStrong delivers advanced, technology-driven services that identify and recover missed subrogation and deductible billing opportunities. This partnership enables Aon to expand its specialist capabilities and support clients in preventing and reducing claims leakage in these critical areas.
Aligned with Aon’s Risk Capital approach, this offering enables Aon to bring more capabilities to insurer clients and expand services to third-party administrators and managing general agents.
Leonora Siccardi, executive sponsor of the initiative and global head of Strategy and Execution for Reinsurance at Aon, said: “Insurers are tackling persistent challenges in claims while adapting to evolving business needs. Specialist Claims Solutions is designed to help clients achieve measurable improvements in operational efficiency, reduced loss ratios, and enhanced customer experience through faster, smarter claims processes.”
Sherif Zakhary, CEO of Strategy and Technology Group and Inpoint at Aon, added: “Driving profitable growth requires more than just reacting to claims challenges – it demands a proactive approach. By combining expertise, technology and capital insight, we are helping clients to anticipate risk, reduce leakage and unlock new value across the claims lifecycle.”
Veronica Judice and David Griffiths will lead the newly formed team as global co-heads of specialty claims solutions. They will both report into Siccardi.
This initiative complements Aon’s ongoing commitment to delivering enhanced claims capabilities, following the recent announcement of its Reinsurance Global Claims and Client Experience proposition.
