Vox Media announced a new podcast in partnership with journalist Alex Heath and brand strategist Ellis Hamburger. Called ACCESS, the weekly show will see Heath and Hamburger peel back the curtain on the tech industry’s inside conversation, with a special focus on the rise of artificial intelligence and how it’s reshaping products, companies, and culture. Drawing on their unique backgrounds and years of experience, Heath and Hamburger will unpack the people and technologies transforming society, and interview the industry’s most influential figures. Launching on September 18th, early episodes of the show will feature conversations with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Figma CEO Dylan Field. The show will be available on audio and video platforms, including Apple, Spotify, and YouTube, with new episodes out weekly on Thursdays. Notion is the show’s presenting launch sponsor, and Warp is its supporting launch sponsor.

“I’ve spent my career uncovering how the tech industry really works,” says Heath. “Now, the AI boom is reshaping everything about how products are built and companies are run. With ACCESS, we’ll go deeper than the headlines and bring people into the conversations with the people shaping our future.”

“Ten years ago, I left the media world to see what working in tech was really like,” says Hamburger. “To learn what our brightest founders truly think, and how our greatest products are actually built. Now, one IPO and an acquisition later, I’m thrilled to partner with Vox Media — where my career began all those years ago — to share an inside look at the industry we love.”

Alex Heath is one of the tech industry’s most prominent journalists and the founder of Sources, an independent publication that will launch on September 17th, chronicling how AI is upending Silicon Valley and beyond. Vox Media will help sell advertising into Sources, and its technology brand, The Verge, will syndicate one issue a week for its subscribers. Most recently Deputy Editor at The Verge, Heath’s award-winning reporting has reshaped narratives at trillion-dollar companies, been cited in congressional hearings, and been featured on everything from Saturday Night Live to the New York Times. He has interviewed leaders and influential figures across the technology world and beyond, from Sam Altman to Keanu Reeves. In addition to hosting ACCESS and writing Sources, he’s also a contributor for The Verge.

Ellis Hamburger is the founder of Meaning, a creative studio that helps founders articulate their vision. Hamburger has worked in and around many of the world’s greatest product founders for nearly fifteen years, growing his knowledge of the founder psyche and how the very best startups design, hire, raise money, and inspire the world. Hamburger helped define Snap’s brand voice from its startup days through its IPO, played a key role in the ascent of The Browser Company, and now advises companies like Notion and Nextdoor. He began his career in media working as a reporter for publications like Business Insider and The Verge.

“Over the last several years, Alex Heath has broken big stories and hosted defining interviews at The Verge, and Ellis Hamburger has been advising top tech founders and startups. They each bring a unique perspective and deep insight into how the tech industry is rapidly evolving,” says Vox Media’s SVP and general manager for audio and video Ray Chao. “We’re excited to partner with Alex and Ellis to launch the next must-listen technology show.”
