Have more fun together in these games using GameChat and GameShare

You can do some nifty stuff with GameChat* and GameShare**, two fun features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system. Get to know them better with a handful of games that pair great with each feature!

Share supported games with friends and family, even if they don’t have the game! A Nintendo Switch 2 system can share compatible games with a nearby Nintendo Switch 2 or, sometimes, even a Nintendo Switch, letting everyone be able to play. (Compatibility varies by game, of course.)

Check out some games you can share and play together!

In 2-player co-op mode, one player controls Donkey Kong while the other can be Pauline, riding on DK’s shoulder, using her powerful vocals to blast baddies and terrain. You can use GameShare locally with a Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch system. Online GameShare can only be done between two Nintendo Switch 2 systems via GameChat.

GameShare lets two people play together, with one player controlling Mario and the other controlling Cappy. Will your team-up be a hit or a hat-tastrophe? That’s up to you, but hopefully you’ll have more fun playing together than you did with that pun!

Chat it up while you wrassle together! Use GameShare via GameChat to play with a friend online, or share locally to a Nintendo Switch 2 system—or even a Nintendo Switch system! While connected via GameShare, friends have access to the full character library and all multiplayer modes—and can even try playing solo!

Up to 4 people can share their game screen or take part in video chat at the same time (if you want to go on camera, you’ve gotta connect a compatible USB camera). Everyone in the group can play different games while chatting, so there are lots of ways to have fun and show off what you’re doing! Go for a dive and share cool discoveries with your buddies! There are over 500 species of marine life to scan, learn about, or just watch do their thing—some of which are presumed extinct, or even mythical. Share your video and show off your discoveries on a Solo Dive—and if your friends also have the game, you can go on dives together and earn in-game bonuses for helping each other!

In this co-op platform adventure, you’ll team up with a friend to work together and get through wildly imaginative situations. But with strong GameChat communication, you two can get through anything! Probably!

Show your friends around the place while you regale them with stories of the locals. Maybe they can offer some advice on your farm life and help you grow your corner of Pelican Town, or you could inspire them about ways to improve their farm in their own game!
