Ludmila Vaserstein Introduces a Unique Method for Learning the Piano

She was then recommended to teach piano at a school where she got exposed to Dr. Elisabeth Caspari’s method of teaching piano. Another interesting part of the Dr. Caspari Piano Method is the Rhythm. Usually piano teachers introduce to the students the counting, but for the children of early age this way is not attractive for them. In opposite, Ms. Vaserstein uses un her teaching some elements of the Hungarian composite and music pedagogue Zoltan Kodaly. But more helpful and understandable for children.

Ludmila Vaserstein was born in Ukraine. She learned to play the piano from age 5 to 25. She graduated from Odessa State Conservatory with a Master’s Degree in Piano Education. She emigrated to the U.S.A. Vaserstein continues to teach students of different ages, from beginners to advanced students and concert performers.
