Cardinal Health names Val Pitteroff as Chief Human Resources Officer
Ola Snow set to retire in February after nearly 25 years with Cardinal Health
DUBLIN, Ohio, September 2, 2025 – Cardinal Health (NYSE: CAH) announced today that Val Pitteroff will serve as the company’s next Chief Human Resources Officer, effective February 16, 2026. Pitteroff will succeed Ola Snow, who announced she will retire after 24 years of dedicated service with the company. Pitteroff will report to CEO, Jason Hollar, and join the company’s executive committee.
In her new role, Pitteroff will have oversight into the company’s Human Resources, Communications, Community Relations, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities, Real Estate and Security organizations.

Pitteroff has more than 20 years of experience at Cardinal Health, previously serving as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the company’s global medical products and distribution segment. She also has held a variety of senior human resources business partner roles within the company and spent time in the organization’s Talent Management Center of Excellence supporting all facets of the organization. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Pitteroff was a member of the United States Peace Corps serving in Paraguay, South America. Pitteroff holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Riverside.
