Brassic rides out in style as Sky drops trailer for acclaimed Original comedy

The Brassic gang are back for one final ride — and they’re going out on top and in style as Sky unveils the full trailer for the much-anticipated seventh series, coming to Sky and streaming service NOW on 25 September. 

After their near-death experience at the end of Series 6, the gang have a new lease of life. Confronted with the fragility of it all, they’re grabbing each day by the horns — and with that kind of mindset, there’s no telling what trouble they’ll land in…

Series 7 is a full-throttle farewell packed with everything fans love: lederhosen-fuelled escapades, school reunions gone wildly off the rails, and gangsters more unhinged than ever. But amid the madness, old wounds resurface, friendships are tested, and the gang must face what their future and their past really mean.

With new faces, surprise returns, and a whole lot of heart, this final chapter is a riotous, emotional send-off to the beloved world of Brassic.

Joe Gilgun (Vinnie) is joined by returning cast Michelle Keegan (Erin),  Ryan Sampson (Tommo), Aaron Heffernan (Ashley), Parth Thakerar (JJ), Joanna Higson (Sugar), Steve Evets (Jim), Dominic West (Dr Chris), Neil Ashton (Davey), and Bhavna Limbachia (Meena) for a final round of escapades, raucous adventure and mischief. 

Danny Brocklehurst, co-creator & writer, said: “After fifty epic episodes we are ending Brassic on a high. The series is a huge hit, but Joe Gilgun and myself always said we wanted to leave the party while it was still fun, even if saying goodbye is tough. We have a loyal and loving audience and we can’t thank them enough for going on this crazy journey with us. At its heart, Brassic is about friendship and love and that’s the spirit we are leaving with.” 

 The acclaimed hit series, which completes a milestone 50-episode run, is produced by Calamity Films.

Calamity Films is an independent television and film production company set up in 2013. Its first production was PRIDE (2014) directed by Matthew Warchus and written by Stephen Beresford. It starred Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Andrew Scott, Dominic West and George MacKay. The film received 7 BIFA nominations, 3 BAFTA nominations and a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Film. David Livingstone was awarded a BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Producer alongside writer Stephen Beresford. 

In 2019 Calamity Films produced JUDY starring Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland, written by Tom Edge and directed by Rupert Goold. Renée Zellweger won the British Independent Film Award, BAFTA, Screen Actors Guild Award, Independent Film Spirit Award, Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal as Judy.
