Renato Veiga departs Chelsea

Renato Veiga has left Chelsea and completed a permanent transfer to La Liga club Villarreal.

Veiga made 18 appearances for the Blues during the first half of last season, having signed from FC Basel in July 2024. The defender earned his first senior caps for Portugal while at the club.

The 22-year-old joined Juventus on loan in January and featured 15 times for the Serie A side over the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
