Walter J. Butts has been the Founder and Pastor of the Mount Carmel Children of God Baptist Church for over forty-four years. Both he and his wife were forty-three years old when they married. Neither one of them had children, but ended up adopting six children: two boys and four girls. Walter J. Butts is also a gospel recording artist, with his latest project “Return back to God America.” They reside in the Chicagoland area and have a deep love for children.

Walter has a unique gift for crafting stories that touch the heart.
