Americas Cardroom’s massive $10 million GTD Dual Mystery Bounty Venom events kick off

ACR Poker’s monster Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments launched on Sunday, August 10th, with Day 1A lighting up the tables in both the $8 million NLH and $2 million PLO. The events drew players from across the globe, eager to compete for massive payouts and impressive bounties.

Day 1A of the Dual Venom tourneys delivered non-stop energy, with players building their stacks, battling for both a guaranteed spot in the money, and the huge bounty prizes that await in Day 2 on Monday, August 25th. Every knockout on Day 2 also guarantees players a minimum bounty of at least $5,000, with the top bounty hitting $500,000 in the Venom NLH and a juicy $200,000 in the Venom PLO.

The Venom NLH Day 1A saw 583 unique players participate and 157 re-entries, bringing the total entries to 740, with 25 players securing their free entry via the Venom Vault. Among the contenders, ‘Drabarwick’, ‘LelijkeHond’, and ‘Silverpound’ had the most entries, each firing six times, alongside ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker, who was up there with four entries.

“Day 1A was a blast and that was just the warm-up,” said Moneymaker. “With many more flights to come, there’s still time to jump in and take your shot at life-changing prizes. Whether you’re here for the huge bounties, the Venom titles, or just for fun, there’s a seat with your name on it. And don’t forget satellites starting at $0 are still up for grabs. Let’s roll!”

Moneymaker was joined by ACR Pros Michael Loncar and Rob Kuhn, with both securing their spots in Day 2. Meanwhile, Ebony Kenny, Drew Gonzalez, Jeff Boski and Jon Pardy were eliminated, but players can expect to see them back in action in upcoming flights.

The Venom PLO, which ties ACR Poker’s biggest Omaha tourney ever, brought 107 unique players to the felt in Day 1A, with 58 re-entries bringing the total to 165. The top two re-entries came from ‘Youcomeseeme’ and ‘Inauspicious’ with five entries each.

While Day 1A is a wrap, five more Day 1s remain for players to qualify for Day 2 on Monday, August 25th at 1:05pm ET. Day 1B takes place this Thursday, August 14th, and now players can take another shot at glory with a special added Bonus Flight on Saturday, August 23rd at 12:05pm ET. The Final Table kicks off on Tuesday, August 26th at 4:05pm ET, live-streamed on ACR Poker’s Twitch channel.

Players of all bankrolls can still qualify for the Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms through Survivor Flips, Venom Vault, Poison Path, and Spin to Get In. There are also Venom Fever Satellites, offering hundreds of guaranteed seats (starting at $0).
