Bradford Film Fans have the chance to see an exclusive screening of Ben Wheatley’s new film BULK and a Q&A with the Director himself, Producer Andy Starke and stars of the film

Hot off the film’s world premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival, Ben Wheatley’s BULK will play at the National Science and Media Museum’s Pictureville Cinema on 16th August.

As part of Bradford: A City of Film, Film4 has curated a selection of films with a focus on ‘Great Firsts.’ Although not Wheatley’s directorial debut, the film is a return to his homegrown filmmaking roots and audience members can expect car chases, gun fights, sci-fi, and romance. Wheatley will then participate in an exclusive Q&A alongside Producer Andy Starke.

Bradford film fans are in for a treat this summer, as film-lovers have been invited to get an exclusive look at a new Film4-backed film: BULK from Ben Wheatley (Kill List, High Rise, The Meg 2)

This is one of Film4 backed titles shown, thanks to a major partnership with the festival.

What’s the film about?

We can’t reveal much as is having its world premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival’s Midnight Madness this August…but what we can say is it returns to Ben Wheatley’s film making kaleidoscopic roots so if you’re a fan of In the Earth or A Field in England then this could be for you. 

What can people expect on the night?

You will be amongst the first people to see this film and then will hear from Director Ben Wheatley, Producer Andy Starke and the stars of BULK – Sam Riley (Control, Maleficent) and Alexandra Maria Lara (Downfall, Rush). 

When and where is it showing?

It is showing on the 16th August at the National Science and Media Museum’s Pictureville Cinema.
