Salesforce Tops “Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion” List for Seventh Time
For the seventh year in a row, Salesforce has been named one of the Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Index®, earning a top score of 100.
Why the ranking mattersWith nearly 1.3 billion people worldwide living with a disability — 16% of the global population — advancing disability inclusion is both a moral imperative and a business priority.
“We believe that disability inclusion is fundamental to building a workplace where everyone can thrive,” said Catherine Nichols, Chief Accessibility Officer at Salesforce. “This recognition is a reflection of the collective effort across our company to prioritize accessibility and create a culture where employees with disabilities are included and empowered.”
In addition to earning top scores in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Japan, this year, Salesforce also earned top scores in Brazil and India.
“We’re proud of our expanding global recognition to foster disability inclusion, which is critical to how we innovate,” Nichols said. “As we embrace the era of agentic AI, we’re working with partners to ensure these powerful new technologies are designed with diverse abilities in mind, shaping a future that genuinely works for everyone.”
The Disability IndexThe Disability Index® is an independent, third-party resource for the annual, confidential benchmarking of disability inclusion policies and programs in business. The benchmarking tool measures companies’ performance across six key areas: Culture & Leadership, Enterprise-Wide Access, Employment Practices, Community Engagement, Supplier Inclusion, and Responsible Procurement. It analyzes companies’ equality practices and scores them on a scale of zero to 100, helping them build a roadmap of measurable, tangible actions that they can take to achieve greater disability inclusion in the workplace. To be included in the “Best Places to Work” list, companies need to score at least 80 on the index.
