July at Four Seasons Montreal: A Month of Art, Wine and Elevated Experiences
This month, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal sets the tone for a new season of connection, celebration, and curated culture. From art activations and award-winning wine nights to bold new cocktails and next-gen skincare, July 2025 brings an elevated pulse to the hotel’s signature spaces.
A Toast to Excellence at Marcus
At Marcus Restaurant + Lounge, the month begins with a well-deserved celebration: Marcus has once again earned the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, honouring the restaurant’s standout wine program led by Chef Sommelier Alexandra Guay. Her thoughtfully curated list — a balance of iconic labels and emerging producers — continues to elevate every Marcus experience.
To spotlight the wine culture that sets Marcus apart, the Hotel continues its weekly Sommeliers’ Soirée series. Hosted by Alexandra Guay or a member of her team, each soirée offers an exclusive masterclass dedicated to a specific wine-producing country. Guests are guided through the region’s terroir, varietals, and tasting traditions while enjoying a refined pairing of charcuterie and cheeses.
Sommeliers’ Soirées are priced at CAD 175 per person (taxes and service charges not included). A credit card is required to secure reservations, which will only be charged in the case of cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or no-shows. Each masterclass welcomes a minimum of two and a maximum of eight guests. For special requests or groups of nine+, contact 514 843 2525. Reservations are confirmed by the Marcus team.
Whether a seasoned enthusiast or simply wine-curious, Sommeliers’ Soirées offer a rare chance to sip and learn in an intimate, guided setting.
Cocktails & Canvas Returns with Richard Bernardin
Art and mixology collide once again with the return of Cocktails & Canvas, the hotel’s monthly artist-in-residence series at Marcus Lounge. On July 10, 2025 the spotlight shines on Richard Bernardin, a Montreal- and New York–based fashion and portrait photographer recently named CAFA’s 2024 Image Maker of the Year.
Guests are invited to an immersive evening celebrating Bernardin’s iconic work, complete with signature cocktails crafted by Jay Lawson, live visual projections of the artist’s photography, and four original artworks on display throughout the lounge. The evening also features a live Q&A session hosted by Maripier Morin, and a live music performance to carry the night’s energy into the late hours.
Cocktails & Canvas is an ode to creative energy, blending local talent, international acclaim, and the unmistakable Marcus atmosphere.
Summer Radiance at the Guerlain Spa
This July, the Guerlain Spa invites guests to recharge with the season’s most sought-after treatment: the Hydrafacial. This non-invasive, multi-step ritual deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the skin — delivering a dewy, lit-from-within glow that’s perfect for summer social calendars. Paired with Guerlain’s Parisian skincare expertise, it’s self-care at its most luxurious.
A July Like No Other
From globally recognized wine programs to artist-driven evenings and restorative rituals, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal continues to redefine what it means to summer in the city.
