Boeing Donates $200,000 to Support Flooding Recovery Efforts in Texas
Boeing (NYSE: BA) is donating $200,000 from the Boeing Charitable Trust to assist with recovery and relief efforts in the aftermath of devastating flooding in central Texas.
Funding will support the following organizations:
- $100,000 to Salvation Army San Antonio Area Command to support emergency shelters and provide food, emotional support and health services to those impacted
- $100,000 to Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support trusted organizations in Kerrville providing rescue, relief and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to those who are grappling with unimaginable loss and uncertainty in the aftermath of the flooding,” said Jeff Shockey, executive vice president of Boeing Government Operations, Global Public Policy, and Corporate Strategy. “With Boeing teammates in the region personally feeling the impacts of this tragedy, we deeply appreciate the work of our local partners who are supporting a pathway to recovery.”

In addition to corporate charitable investments, Boeing employees give to their local communities through their local Boeing Employees Community Fund chapter and by participating in volunteer and charitable gift match programs. Consistent with Boeing employee gift match programs, the company will match qualifying employee contributions made in support of flood relief efforts.

Boeing employs more than 7,300 people in Texas, and in 2024, provided $7.9 million in charitable contributions across the state.
