Depop Joins Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater™ 3 + 4 to Launch a Style-Driven Celebration of Skate Culture

New York, New York – WEBWIRE

Depop is dropping into the gaming world with a new collaboration that brings fashion and skateboarding culture together like never before. As part of the launch for Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4 - one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time - Depop is stepping inside the game, offering players new ways to express their style while skating through the streets of San Francisco and London.

Skate Style, Reimagined

In the new game, players can access a Depop-branded “Create-A-Skater” pack, featuring 15 branded styles and skateboards inspired by real pieces and Depop merch. Depop also shows up across the game itself, with pop-up-style moments and street-inspired branding built into the levels - bringing the fashion marketplace’s brand energy directly into gameplay.

Real Style, Real Shops

Depop users will have the opportunity to shop exclusive edits with more than 5,000 items, inspired by the closets of pro-skaters, Riley Hawk, Nora Vasconcello, Sammy Montano, Sierra Prescott, and Henri Yoro. In addition to these edits, Depop will also launch three exclusive, collaborative in-app shops with talent from the worlds of skating, streetwear, and music:

  • Andy Anderson Shop Drop – July 7 Making his Tony Hawk Pro-skater 3 + 4 debut, the Canadian pro skater releases a personal collection of skate staples that reflect his boundary-pushing style. The shop will feature personal memorabilia including prototype boards, his off-market pro model shoe, and skatewear.

  • NECKFACE x Depop Shop Drop - July 11 Known for his graffiti-meets-streetwear aesthetic, NECKFACE is releasing a limited collection of one-of-one unique womenswear pieces, designed by the artist on secondhand items sourced on Depop, that blend graffiti art, fashion, and skate. Each item is personally designed by NECKFACE.

  • KennyHoopla Shop Drop - July 16 Longtime Depop user, alt-artist, and style icon KennyHoopla drops a curated collection of rare merchandise and equipment on Depop - while his tracks also feature on the THPS 3 + 4 soundtrack, bringing his voice to the streets and the screen. The drop will include pieces ranging from true vintage, to Y2K, to archival gems.

The campaign is fronted by pro-skaters Riley Hawk and Nora Vasconcello who represent a new generation of athletes blending fashion, identity, and freedom of expression.

“Skate culture has always involved exploring your personal style—and Depop is built on self-expression,” said Steve Dool, Senior Brand and Marketing Director at Depop. “This partnership is a celebration of the common interests between both communities. Whether you’re discovering skateboarding through Tony Hawk’s(™) Pro Skater™ or you’ve been on a board your whole life, you can count on Depop to give you a way to wear what you love, both in-game and IRL.”

With millions of users inspired by streetwear and gaming, and a fast-growing menswear category, this partnership is a natural move for Depop - connecting past and future generations of skaters through fashion, creativity, and community.
