New Channel 4 Documentary Poisoned: Killer in the Post Uncovers Global Poisoning Scandal Linked to 99 Deaths in the UK

A shocking new two-part documentary, Poisoned: Killer in the Post, airing on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July at 9pm on Channel 4, exposes a chilling international investigation into how a deadly poison was sold online and linked to nearly 100 deaths in the UK alone.

The series, produced by Wonderhood Studios, follows Times journalist James Beal as he investigates the tragic death of Tom, a young man who died by suicide using a lethal substance purchased online. Contacted by Tom’s grieving father, Beal uncovers a disturbing pattern of similar deaths occurring across the UK, US, Canada, Germany and Australia, all involving the same method.

As Beal delves deeper, he goes undercover into the dark world of online suicide forums and discovers a website allegedly distributing poison to vulnerable individuals worldwide.

His investigation leads to Kenneth Law, a former Canadian chef, now accused of sending over 1,200 packages of poison across the globe. Law is currently facing multiple first-degree murder charges in Canada and has pleaded not guilty. The UK’s National Crime Agency has connected Law to 99 deaths in Britain.
