Fundae and Moeve promote sustainability and energy transition training with free content for all audiences
- A new agreement under the Digitalízate initiative enables wider access to innovative training in sustainable energy, focusing on green molecules and the energy transition
- As part of this agreement, Moeve offers 12 courses covering the value chain of sustainable fuels, green hydrogen, and other renewable gases, among other topics
Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae) and Moeve have signed a partnership agreement within the Digitalízate initiative to offer specialized, accessible training in key skills for the future workforce. This alliance, formalized at Fundae’s headquarters, democratizes training focused on green molecules, which is the foundation of sustainable fuels and renewable gases that are essencial to accelerating the energy transition.
Through this agreement, both organizations are offering a range of completely free training materials open to all; a collection of training content addressing major challenges of the energy transition and aligned with current labor market demands. Moeve contributes 12 courses, each approximately 30 minutes long, on topics including green hydrogen’s value chain, sustainable fuels, biogas, and renewable energy in general.
This partnership strengthens both organizations’ commitment to employability, digitalization, and continuous learning, with a clear vision: ensuring no one is left behind in a dynamic and demanding job market. The new courses feature a multimedia format with graphics, videos, and downloadable resources, developed in collaboration with the Hydrogen Foundation of Aragón, the Institute of Knowledge and Networking (IKN), and the School of Industrial Organization (EOI).
Digitalízate, an initiative led by Fundae and the State Public Employment Service (SEPE), offers more than 1,300 free training resources that have attracted over 8.8 million visits to date. With Moeve joining, the initiative now includes 60 participating entities, reinforcing a broad public-private and public-public network focused on talent development, enhancing business competitiveness, and building a more resilient and inclusive labor market.
The signing ceremony was attended by Antonio de Luis Acevedo, Managing Director of Fundae; Gerardo Gutiérrez Ardoy, Director General of SEPE and First Vice President of Fundae; Bettina Karsch, General Director of People and Organization at Moeve; and Rafael Fernández Qundez, Talent Director at Moeve. Also present were key Fundae board members: Carlos Varela, Coordinator of Training for the Employed at SEPE’s Active Employment Policies Subdirectorate; Miguel Canales, Head of Occupational Risk Prevention Training and Projects at Cepyme; and Manuel San Juan, Director of Business Technical Assistance at CEOE in Fundae, as well as representatives from the Technical Assistance units at the CCOO and UGT trade unions.
Fundae Managing Director Antonio de Luis Acevedo highlighted that “Moeve’s inclusion in Digitalízate enables us to expand high-quality training, accessible to everyone and focused on the future of work. It’s a great opportunity to build new professional skills and prepare people for a labor market aligned with today’s sustainability and energy efficiency challenges.”
“Talent is one of the driving forces of the future and a key accelerator of the energy transition. At Moeve, we are committed to training for emerging jobs to accelerate social, economic, and labor transformation. We are proud to partner with Digitalízate to democratize access to knowledge. We’re eager to share our expertise in sustainability and innovation to help build a better future, together.”
