Beallsville, PA -- July 20, 2005 -- Kelley’s Acres announces the “Win Free Gas for One Year worth $5,000” Lucky Pick Mega Contest taking place at the 4th Annual Country Jam Wing Cook-Off and National Pike Auto Show on Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24, 2005.

Sponsored by 4 Horsemen Development and Management and T&L Landscaping, the Win Free Gas for 1 Year mega contest was designed to generate excitement over the event while alleviating people’s concerns over rising gas costs.

“We wanted to run a contest that people would really appreciate,” says June Kelley, owner of Kelley’s Acres. I noticed that attendance was down at events that had attracted large numbers in the past. After talking to the locals, the price of gas was the main reason people weren’t attending these events. So we thought, why not make that the theme of our contest. If people come out, at least they have a chance to win back the gas they used to drive to Kelley’s Acres, and then some.”

To participate in the contest, spectators can and show registrants can buy tickets. Each hour one person will be picked as a semi-finalist. In order to increase your chances of becoming a semi-finalist, you can purchase more tickets every hour. At the end of each day, the semi-finalists will be automatically entered into a final drawing where one person will be picked to play the “Lucky Pick” contest. If they pick the right bag, they win the $5,000 gas card. The contest will run on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2005 Country Jam event also hosts a Wing Cook-Off competition where local restaurants and vendors compete for Best Buffalo Traditional Sauce, Best BBQ Wing Sauce, Most Creative Sauce and Best Showmanship and Booth Display; and the National Pike Auto Show.
