Lancia and Eberhard & Co. unveil Lancia HF The collectible timepiece celebrating Lancia’s sporting heritage
On the occasion of the unveiling of the new 280 HP Lancia Ypsilon HF and the Ypsilon HF Line at the Balocco Proving Ground, Lancia and Eberhard & Co. previewed an exclusive limited-edition watch — result of the collaboration between the historic automotive brand and the Swiss watchmaking Maison.
The timepiece celebrates the rebirth of the HF logo within the Lancia universe. The acronym, which stands for High Fidelity, along with the red elephant, are both historical symbols of Lancia’s tradition. Reinterpreted with essential, clean lines, they retain a strong historical connection to the brand’s identity. The colour palette echoes that of the 1966 Fulvia Coupé, while the slanted lettering is inspired by the 1990s Delta, evoking energy and determination.
The Lancia HF embodies the brand’s most sporty, competitive, and victorious spirit — a legacy forged in legendary international rally competitions. This partnership was born from a shared desire to celebrate a true sense of heritage: not mere nostalgia, but a conscious reinterpretation of a rich legacy, bridging past and future in a continuous dialogue.
The project thus becomes a meaningful meeting point — a contemporary reimagining of tradition, faithfully reviving the design codes and values of the past, with authenticity, coherence, and a forward-looking perspective.
The watch dial features the new HF logo in its traditional white, red, and black colours, with slanted lettering and the distinctive red elephant with its raised trunk — a symbol introduced by Gianni Lancia in 1953, representing determination and courage.
The timepiece is equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement, a 41 mm stainless steel case, and is offered with a dial in blue, white, or black featuring luminescent hour markers on a circular “soleil” finished zone and the unmistakable HF logo with the red elephant at 6 o’clock. The red colour also accents the central seconds hand and the “60” marker on the minute scale. The caseback is customised with the Lancia logo, reference number, and the unique progressive serial number identifying each piece.
The watch comes with a vintage-style leather strap featuring red stitching and loop — echoing the colour of the logo — or with a sporty Chablis stainless steel bracelet with a 2-button 2CLICK® clasp.
Produced in a limited edition of 120 pieces per dial version, the timepiece will be available at selected Eberhard & Co. authorized retailers in the final months of 2025.
