British airline Easyjet will launch a new direct flight route between Rovaniemi and Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the beginning of December.

For the first time next winter, Rovaniemi Airport will offer direct scheduled flights to Belfast. In total, Easyjet will operate flights to Rovaniemi from 15 different European destinations next winter: Amsterdam, Belfast, Berlin, Birmingham, Bordeaux, Brussels, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, Luton and Southend, Lyon, Manchester, Milan, Nice, and Paris.

– Easyjet’s commitment to developing routes to Rovaniemi highlights Lapland’s appeal as an international travel destination. Cooperation between Finavia, airlines, and regions is essential to ensure regular scheduled flights and improve Finland’s accessibility. Thanks to these routes, the strong growth of tourism in Lapland will continue into the upcoming winter season, says Petri Vuori, Director of Route Development at Finavia.

The route between Rovaniemi and Belfast will operate twice a week in December 2026, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

More information and tickets are available on the airline’s website.
