Clean Water, Clean Energy: DC Nonprofit Unveils Life-Changing Tech at June 21 Event

The International Lifeline Fund (Lifeline), a DC-based non-profit that provides clean water and sustainable energy to rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa, will host a cocktail party benefit on Saturday, June 21, at the historic Arts Club of Washington. The evening will both showcase Lifeline’s latest innovation — a uniquely designed water jug that helps prevent contamination of drinking water — and celebrate its life-saving achievements.

“Lifeline has helped hundreds of thousands gain access to clean water and sustainable energy by delivering cost-effective, scalable solutions,” said Dan Wolf, Lifeline’s founder. “Our mission is to empower individuals and protect the environment through practical, market-based solutions that meet the basic clean water and energy needs of underserved communities.”

The event—“An Evening of Good Feelings at The Monroe House” — is a cocktail social that will entertain and enlighten guests with a closer look at Lifeline’s mission and its exciting new technology. “We’re anxious to share our story and show how an innovative, yet simple, tweak to an existing product can combat water-borne disease and improve the lives of tens of millions of individuals across Sub-Saharan Africa,” Wolf added.
