UEFA receives environmental leadership award

The award is the Alliance’s highest honour, and celebrates individuals and organisations who have made a profound impact on advancing sustainability within the sports industry.

Members of the Green Sports Alliance (GSA) pointed to UEFA’s commitment to pursue a "Road to Zero", with the measurement, reduction and mitigation measures undertaken across the internal organisation and UEFA events.

The Green Sports Alliance is a global community that works to drive sustainability across leagues, teams and venues. This was the 15th edition of the organisation’s annual summit, which was held from 10-12 June, and titled 

’’Game On 2030’’, in recognition of the summit’s ambition to accelerate action towards a more resilient and responsible future.
