About the Author: Michael Albrow
Professor Michael Albrow brings six decades of scientific expertise and a lifelong passion for public science education to the pages of Space Times Matter. A Fellow of the Institute of Physics and the American Physical Society, Albrow has contributed to groundbreaking discoveries, including the top quark and the Higgs boson. His career began at the University of Birmingham and has included positions at Stockholm University and Fermilab, where he now holds the title of Scientist Emeritus.
He has co-authored hundreds of research papers on particle physics —and in 2022, he published Singularities and Infinities (American University Museum Project Space), a science-and-art book created in collaboration with artist Shanthi Chandrasekar. In his new book, Albrow translates a lifetime of complex research into an engaging, readable form for everyone.
