Millie Bright withdraws from England squad

 Millie Bright has withdrawn from the England squad ahead of their games against Portugal and Spain.

The Chelsea skipper was one of six Blues named in Sarina Wiegman’s squad for the UEFA Nations League double-header, but will now not be involved so she can undertake an extended period of recovery.

Hannah Hampton, Lucy Bronze, Niamh Charles, Keira Walsh and Aggie Beever-Jones remain in the squad for the Lionesses’ games against Portugal at Wembley on Friday and then Spain in Barcelona next Tuesday 3 June.
