Dunlop has been chosen as an official event partner of Honda Adventure Roads 2025, the next edition of Honda’s exciting guided, cross-border motorcycle adventure series. The partnership will see Dunlop equip all 30 riders on the tour with sets of its acclaimed 50/50 on/off-road tire, Trailmax Raid.

This year’s tour begins on 8 June in Rome, Italy, from where over nine days, riders will cover 2,500 kilometres aboard Honda Africa Twin motorcycles, travelling through eight countries. The tour will navigate winding mountain roads, demanding off-road sections and dense forest routes before concluding in Istanbul, Turkey.

Dunlop Trailmax Raid was the carefully selected choice for the tour, designed for riders who require confidence-inspiring off-road performance and excellent wet and dry traction on the road. Dunlop’s 50/50 on/off-road tire was revealed two years ago and has since become renowned for its proven performance across varied terrain, including tarmac, gravel and off-road surfaces.

The main group of 30 customer riders will be joined by a selection of journalists and content creators, as well as two professional Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) riders for the journey.

Roberto Finetti, Marketing Manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe: “We’re delighted to have been chosen as a partner for Honda Adventure Roads 2025. It is a very clear endorsement of Dunlop’s newest adventure product. We introduced Trailmax Raid to our range as Dunlop’s first 50/50 on/off-road tire, and it has quickly established itself as the go-to choice for riders, enthusiasts, riding schools, and journalists across Europe. It delivers impressive off-road capability while maintaining excellent grip on wet and dry roads, making it the perfect choice for this challenging multi-terrain, cross-border adventure. Honda Adventure Roads will be a true test of both rider and machine, but Dunlop Trailmax Raid is more than up to the challenge!”

Trailmax Raid is positioned in Dunlop’s trail range alongside Trailmax Meridian, and highlights Dunlop’s strongest adventure trail offering to date. Trailmax Meridian offers off-road capability for occasional use, whereas Trailmax Raid is designed specifically for riders who demand more regular off-road performance.

With a range stretching from Trailmax Meridian to the pure off-road D908RR, and as part of a portfolio that also includes the incredibly versatile Mutant, the value-orientated Trailmax, Trailmax Mixtour and the globetrotter tire Trailmax Mission; Trailmax Raid covers the needs of riders requiring ultimate versatility from their adventure bikes.

Nick Bennett, Brand Marketing Section Manager, Honda Motor Europe: “We are very excited to welcome Dunlop onboard as a selected partner to the Honda Adventure Roads series. The CRF1100L Africa Twin is renowned for its toughness and go-anywhere ability and has formed an integral part of the series. Pairing it with the 50/50 on/off Dunlop Trailmax Raid tire will only enhance the entire trip experience for riders, offering the versatility needed for a variety of terrain and riders of differing skill levels.”

Honda Adventure Roads 2025 begins from Rome, Italy on 8 June and will conclude in Istanbul, Turkey nine days later. Follow updates from riders on the tour on the Dunlop and dedicated Honda Adventure Roads Instagram pages.
