Lacoste deepens its ties with cinema through its first co-production: Chien 51, the upcoming film by Cédric Jimenez

Lacoste is proud to co-produce Chien 51, the highly anticipated new film by Cédric Jimenez, alongside Hugo Sélignac, President of Chi-Fou-Mi Productions. This initiative continues Lacoste’s ongoing support for artistic creation and reflects the brand’s growing ties to the world of cinema and entertainment.

A co-production celebrating French creativity

For its first cinematic co-production, Lacoste partners with leading figures of French cinema, acclaimed both in France and internationally for their boldness and creativity, values at the core of the brand’s DNA. These include producer Hugo Sélignac and director Cédric Jimenez, as well as a celebrated cast featuring Gilles Lellouche, Louis Garrel, and actress Adèle Exarchopoulos, a Lacoste ambassador.

In this dystopian thriller, Lacoste will feature in a co-created scene imagining how the brand might appear in such a world. Lacoste will also sign the look of one of the characters.

Lacoste brings together the talents of Chien 51 for a special event in Cannes celebrating this unique co-production

During the Cannes Film Festival, Lacoste hosted a special event attended by the film’s cast and crew. Conceived as a celebration of this unique collaboration, the event also unveiled exclusive first images from the film.

Hosting this event alongside one of the world’s most emblematic celebrations of cinema and French elegance was a natural fit for Lacoste, an iconic French brand with global reach.

Chien 51 will be released in theatres in October 2025.
