A new Pirelli rear tyre makes its debut at Most
At the WorldSBK round in the Czech Republic, Pirelli will introduce the new E0250 rear specification in medium compound alongside the D0922 development solution already used in Australia
· On the occasion of the fifth round of the FIM Superbike World Championship which will take place next weekend at the Czech circuit of Most, Pirelli will introduce a new rear tyre for the WorldSBK class, the E0250 medium compound specification that the riders will be able to test for the first time this weekend. The rear allocation is completed by another medium development solution, the D0922, which has already been used at Phillip Island, and the standard SC0, the latter option dedicated to practice, qualifying and the Superpole Race, replacing the usual SCQ.
· Medium compounds on the stage. Given the characteristics of the circuit, which is particularly demanding on tyres, the medium compounds are the obvious choice for Most. The D0922 specification, which made its debut in Australia to positive reviews, has both a different structure and compound compared to the standard medium SC1, with the aim of offering more consistent performance and greater stability at high working intervals. The medium in E0250 specification, which is completely new, uses the same compound as the D0922 but is equipped with a different structure, with the intention of further increasing stability and consistency of performance. As for the fronts, the two standard options, SC1 medium and SC2 hard, are confirmed.
· Allocation for WorldSSP and WorldSSP300. For WorldSSP riders, medium SC1 and hard SC2 for the front will be combined with SC0 or SC1. In WorldSSP300, the front SC1 and rear SC2 will make up the reference set for this weekend.

Most good testing ground for development
’’Most is, along with Phillip Island, one of the two most demanding circuits of the season in terms of wear and stress on the tyres, so it’s a good opportunity to check the quality of some solutions resulting from the development work we are doing to improve our product in the area of medium rear compounds, which are usually little used but at some circuits like this and the Australian one they are an obligatory choice. That’s why the allocation presents solutions that are, on average, harder than at other rounds, with two rear solutions for the WorldSBK riders, both a development and a medium compound. One is the D0922 which was already present in Australia and the other is the E0250, a completely new tyre that uses the same compound as the D0922 but has a different structure, aimed at further increasing stability and consistency. As has already happened in past years, at Most the role of the SCQ will be played by the soft SC0, which is more suitable for this type of circuit and asphalt. This will therefore be a very important round to gather feedback on these new solutions and understand if our development work is moving in the right direction.’’
