REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – April 30, 2025 – Gruve.ai today announced $20 million in Series A funding led by Mayfield, with participation from Cisco Investments and other investors. This brings the company’s total funding to $37.5M, following a previously unannounced $17.5M seed round. Gruve is building an outcome-based AI services platform that guides enterprises from initial strategy through deployment and ongoing management, focusing on delivering measurable business impact.

Despite a flood of capital into AI, most enterprise efforts stall in the gap between experimentation and impact. CIOs are left with disconnected pilots, tool overload, and teams that lack the operational muscle to scale AI across the business. Gruve closes that execution gap—owning the entire lifecycle from roadmap to rollout, so AI doesn’t just start; it succeeds.

“Every enterprise knows AI can be transformative, but too many are stuck in pilot purgatory—long on experimentation, short on impact,” said Tarun Raisoni, CEO of Gruve. We’re not theorizing about AI—we’re operationalizing it and embedding it directly with teams to drive accurate, measurable results. Enterprises don’t need more strategy—they need execution.”

Unlike outdated consulting models, Gruve only monetizes when outcomes are delivered, not when hours are billed. Rather than dropping off software or strategy decks, Gruve embeds with teams to manage implementation, integration, and operations. It works within existing infrastructure and vendor ecosystems through strategic partnerships with global integrators, tech OEMs, and Fortune 2000 companies.

Gruve’s five-step framework includes:

  1. AI Strategy & Workshop – Align stakeholders, identify opportunities, and set a roadmap for AI implementation.

  2. Data Readiness – Prepare enterprise data sources to support AI applications effectively.

  3. AI Architecture & Integration – Design a scalable infrastructure to deploy AI at an enterprise level.

  4. AI Model Development & Fine-Tuning – Customize AI models to business needs to maximize impact.

  5. Security, Compliance & Governance – Ensure AI deployments are safe, compliant, and enterprise-ready.

This framework is already making a measurable impact, especially in high-stakes sectors like healthcare, where privacy, compliance, and execution are non-negotiable.

“The healthcare industry is governed by strict regulations and security requirements, including HIPAA and GDPR, making data privacy and compliance absolutely critical. Gruve’s ability to implement AI and help cybersecurity while meeting our compliance and security standards has been essential to our enterprise adoption,” said Ramesh Powar, Sr. Director of Cybersecurity & Enterprise Services at Stanford Health Care.

“Most enterprises lack the resources or bandwidth to implement AI,” said Navin Chaddha, Managing Partner at Mayfield. “AI teammates are reimagining enterprise services. Gruve isn’t just adding AI to existing services; they’re reinventing the entire delivery and business model with their outcome-based approach. We’re excited to back Tarun Raisoni and the Gruve team as they build the future of enterprise services that help resource-constrained enterprises around the world operationalize AI at scale.”

“Enterprise AI adoption requires building the platform, solutions, and services to work together,” said Prasad Parthasaranthi, Senior Director at Cisco Investments. “We are excited to invest in Gruve as we continue our commitment to support enterprise customers with solutions that drive innovation and efficiency, enabling them to harness the full potential of AI in their operations.

Gruve will use the funding to scale go-to-market operations, grow its team, and expand its suite of AI services. The founding team has deep roots in enterprise transformation: CEO Tarun Raisoni and co-founder Sushil Goyal previously built Rahi Systems, a data center systems integrator that Wesco International acquired. The broader team includes former experts from Google Cloud, Cisco, NetApp, and SecurView with extensive experience in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and AI operations.
