· Development continues on the supersoft. On the occasion of the Italian Round of the FIM Superbike World Championship that will take place next weekend in Cremona, Pirelli will make available to the riders of the WorldSBK class the same solutions and the same quantities already proposed in the Netherlands, including the two rear options in supersoft compounds: the standard SCX and the E0126 development specification. The latter was the most chosen dry solution at Assen and received positive feedback thanks to the greater stability given by the new structure and the consistency of performance over distance.

· E0158 rain option is back. In the event of rain, as an alternative to the standard SCR1, the E0158 development specification will be available for the front, which made its positive debut at the Dutch Round and was the preferred choice for most riders in the Superpole Race, including winner Toprak Razgatlioğlu (BMW).

· Allocation in detail. For the WorldSBK riders, there will be medium SC1 and hard SC2 for the front and four options for the rear: the extrasoft SCQ, for practice sessions, qualifying and the Superpole Race, the two variants of the supersoft SCX – the standard one and the development E0126 – and the soft SC0. The same front compounds also for WorldSSP, to be combined with SCX or SC0 at the rear. The FIM Women’s World Championship is also back in action in Cremona, using DIABLO Superbike tyres in SC1 compound, both for the front and rear.

In Cremona we continue the development work on the supersoft

’’The new development rear in E0126 specification with supersoft compound in Holland was the most used solution in dry races. For this reason, it will be offered for Cremona as well, alongside the standard SCX. Its innovative casing — the same as the E0125 specification with soft compound, successfully introduced in Portimão — has received widespread acclaim thanks to its greater stability given by a larger footprint and consistent performance over distance. It proved to be particularly effective for those riders who managed to finalize the set-up of the bike in the best possible way, also considering the unusually high track temperatures recorded at Assen in Race1 and Race2. In 2024, the supersoft solutions were the favourites at Cremona: if the weather conditions permit, it will be interesting to collect further data and make new comparisons. In addition, the development front rain tyre in E0158 specification has also been included in the allocation, which made its debut with excellent results in the Superpole Race of the Dutch round. This tyre has gained the trust of most riders, receiving very positive comments thanks to the increased footprint which has improved grip and stability.’’
