Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed a worldwide administration deal with the highly acclaimed, award-winning DJ, record producer, and label executive, Diplo. The thirteen-time GRAMMY nominee and three-time winner has sustained a two-decade long career, amassing hit after hit, with a catalog full of record-breaking and enduring songs like “Where Are Ü Now” with Skrillex and Justin Bieber, “Heartless” ft. Morgan Wallen, “Lean On” (as Major Lazer) with DJ Snake and MØ, “Heartbroken” with Jessie Murph and Polo G, “Cold Water” (as Major Lazer) ft. Justin Bieber and MØ, “Paper Planes” by M.I.A., and “Run the World (Girls)” by Beyoncé, among countless others.

Diplo stated: “The Warner Chappell team is uniquely set up to address my many endeavors and projects whether it be producing for other artists, releasing my own music, or collaborating on records. They have an immensely skilled, forward thinking staff that I feel can help complement how I approach making and placing music. In addition, I am excited to bring it full circle with Carianne Marshall who played such an integral role in my early success.”

Gabz Landman, Senior Vice President, A&R, WCM, shared: “Diplo is a visionary creative whose multi-faceted success includes pushing boundaries with his own projects, creating cross-genre hits for others, and breaking talent through collaboration. It takes a rare kind of talent to be able to build and sustain a successful career that spans multiple decades – something Diplo has done almost effortlessly, and we’re so honored to help amplify his legacy even more.”

David Goldsen, Senior Vice President, North America A&R, WCM, said: “Diplo has already cemented himself as one of the most accomplished artists and music pioneers on the planet. His bold approach to art, culture, and songs is what we want to align with at Warner Chappell. There’s lots to continue to look forward to, and we’re thrilled to work together with him alongside his management team, Andrew McInnes and Renee Brodeur.”

Over the course of a 20-year career that began with his now legendary Philadelphia club night Hollertronix, Diplo has collaborated with the world’s biggest stars and toured the world over. Born in Mississippi and raised in Florida, he continues to champion genres and artists from around the world through his labels Mad Decent and Higher Ground. His current projects include a publishing company and book, film, and television projects. Additionally, Diplo has an inspired new venture Diplo’s Run Club, a growing series of 5K runs followed by daytime outdoor concerts suitable for all ages, which was launched in 2024 to widespread success.

Diplo is also a member of the iconic Major Lazer, one third of LSD—the psychedelic supergroup whose debut album has been streamed over three billion times—and half of Jack Ü with Skrillex and Silk City with Mark Ronson, whose Platinum-certified, GRAMMY-winning “Electricity” with Dua Lipa topped the charts worldwide.

His recent releases include a string of successful Higher Ground singles, last year’s Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant, his second album as country persona Thomas Wesley that was followed by an official remix mixtape, and 2022’s Diplo, his first full-length electronic music album in 18 years.

This weekend, Diplo’s HonkyTonk, a stage curated by Diplo at Goldenvoice’s Stagecoach Festival will return for a third year, featuring exclusive performances from Paris Hilton, WCM’s DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak), Chromeo, Sofi Tukker, and a mix of global dance music artists.
