EUROREPAR launches its Reliance Summer Tire range, with added performance, safety and economy
With its third generation of EUROREPAR Reliance Summer tires, the Brand offers the market a range that combines safety, comfort, efficiency and an excellent price/performance/quality ratio. EUROREPAR summer tires are designed with specific tread patterns and softer rubber than winter tires, guaranteeing drivers precise, safe driving both on dry roads and in wet conditions.
EUROREPAR Reliance Summer tires and the additional benefits of third-generation.
This new generation offers excellent value for money, low rolling resistance, which improves consumption, and very low noise level. It also offers better braking performance on wet roads, with braking distances cut by 1.80 m (UTAC test in September 2024 on a Peugeot 308 fitted with 205/55 R16 tires) and a wet road braking rating of A, compared to the previous generation’s B rating. Meanwhile, the noise level has been reduced from 71 to 70 dB.
- Third generation of EUROREPAR summer tire
- Wet grip rating improved from B to A
- An optimized range, from 55 (2nd gen) to 39 part numbers spanning 198 uses
- One range, three patterns
Technology that drives performance
EUROREPAR Reliance Summer Tires use a Highly Enriched Synthetic Silica Compound (HSSC) rubber that offers high performance in terms of durability, grip in all conditions and rolling resistance.
The rubber features carefully designed tread patterns, with four wide grooves in the centre of the tread and a number of lateral grooves to disperse water, improving grip on wet surfaces while limiting the risks of aquaplaning. The asymmetrical design of the tread patterns, the 5-pitch sequence, the solid outside block and the range of groove depths also reduce noise and ensure tire rigidity. Finally, a VAI indicator allows to immediately see if there is any irregular wear on the tire.
In the interests of environmental responsibility, they comply with the new European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) prohibiting the sale of goods from deforestation.
A range with 198 passenger car and commercial vehicle models
Compared to the previous generation, the size line-up has been optimized from 55 to 39 sizes to meet European market expectations, with 2 new potential sizes developed. EUROREPAR Reliance Summer range meets the needs of 198 different models, from passenger cars to light commercial vehicles. The range covers widths from 155 to 235 mm, with wheel sizes ranging from 14 to 19 inches.
EUROREPAR Reliance Summer tire 3rd generation has been on the market since this year.
Why choose Eurorepar Reliance Summer 3?
For Alejandro Romero Martinez, Stellantis Tyre Product Manager , the answer is easy:
Thanks to the latest technology compounds, the new Eurorepar summer range has improved from EU label B in wet grip to A, meaning safe driving in wet conditions with excellent aquaplaning protection and shorter braking distances of 1.8 m compared to the previous generation*. In addition to wet grip, Eurorepar 3rd generation has also improved in terms of noise, wear resistance and rolling resistance, transforming the driving experience into a comfortable and smooth ride at a truly competitive price.
