Max Is Now Available To Stream In Turkey

Max is now available in Turkey where BluTV has evolved into the premium streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery. Existing direct subscribers in Turkey can sign-in to the advanced global platform with enhanced features and functionality to watch thousands more hours and hundreds more titles than previously available on BluTV. The launch also marks Warner Bros. Discovery’s commitment to increasing its investment in local content, bringing a compelling slate of new local stories to Max.

Today, during its launch press event, Warner Bros. Discovery announced three new Turkish local originals, set to debut on Max. ‘Anatomy of Chaos,” “Jasmin,” and “Feride” will join Max’s growing slate of Turkish productions, further expanding the platform’s rich local content offering and underscoring Warner Bros. Discovery’s dedication to supporting Türkiye’s thriving creative industry. Additionally, a first look at the previously announced Turkish originals “First Göktürk, Prince” season 3,” and “Çekiç ve Gül: Bir Behzat Ç. Hikayesi” season 3 were revealed.  

Max’s upcoming Turkish original productions will further enrich the platform’s offerings, spotlighting local talent and compelling narratives. As of launch, all new Turkish productions and local returning seasons will carry the Max Originals brand and will be released globally (subject to rights), reinforcing the global appeal of Turkey’s storytelling that resonates with audiences both in Turkey and worldwide.

A world of entertainment on Max
Max offers thousands of hours of content, combining an unparalleled lineup of entertainment from Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, HBO Originals, Max Originals, Discovery, TLC, and Cartoon Network. With the launch of Max, the final two episodes of the Turkish hit series “Magarsus” will premiere exclusively on its new home. Additionally, subscribers can enjoy an expansive catalog of feature films such as “Barbie,” “Wonka,” “Harry Potter,” “Dune” and “Dune: Part Two,” alongside Turkish films like “Kar ve Ayı,” “Börü,” “Zuhal,” and “Yurt.” 

Furthermore, they will have access to HBO Originals including highly anticipated new releases such as “The Last of Us,” “IT: Welcome to Derry,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “Euphoria” and “Harry Potter” and - for the first time – the Max Originals “Duster” and “And Just Like That....” The platform will also feature iconic library series like “Friends” and “The Big Bang Theory” and global sensations, “90 Day Fiancé” from TLC and “Gold Rush” from Discovery.

For an initial launch period, all subscribers will have access to extensive live and on-demand coverage of major sports events from Eurosport*. Sports on Max includes tennis Grand Slams — Australian Open, Roland-Garros, and the US Open — as well as cycling’s Grand Tours — Giro d’Italia, La Vuelta a España, and Tour de France — in addition to Tour de France Femmes, 24 Hours of Le Mans, every major winter sports World Championship, and more**.

The launch of Max in Turkey builds on its successful roll out in the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean, EMEA, and Australia. Max is now available in 26 European countries and 77 countries and territories worldwide.

• Standard Plan – allows subscribers to stream on two devices at once with full HD resolution and up to 30 downloads for offline viewing (limits apply).
• Premium Plan – allows subscribers to stream on four devices at once with 4K UHD and Dolby Atmos (as available) and enjoy up to 100 downloads for offline viewing (limits apply).***

For existing BluTV subscribers who signed up directly through BluTV in Türkiye, transitioning to Max is seamless. When they open the BluTV app, they will be automatically prompted to download the Max app. If accessing BluTV via blutv.com, they will be redirected to max.com. Their billing details and login credentials will remain the same, allowing them to sign in with their BluTV account and start streaming Max instantly.

Max offers a user-friendly streaming experience, allowing subscribers to set up individual profiles and receive tailored recommendations based on their viewing preferences. Separate kid-friendly profiles can also be created, featuring age-appropriate content and parental controls for a safe viewing environment. The platform makes discovering content effortless with its intuitive search function, while users can save their favorite shows, resume watching with the Continue Watching feature, or download content for offline viewing, depending on their subscription plan.
