FOX Sports scored 31 Sports Emmy® nominations, as announced today by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as part of the 46th Annual Sports Emmy® Awards. The nominations showcase outstanding programming and exceptional live-event coverage across FOX, FS1, and FOX Sports digital properties.
FOX Sports’ nominees include a diverse range of live events, shows, and original programming. FOX NFL, including Super Bowl LIX, was honored with 10 nominations across multiple categories, highlighted by FOX NFL SUNDAY for Outstanding Studio Show-Weekly, as well as comprehensive live game-day coverage and innovative technical and graphic design.
FOX MLB was honored with seven prestigious nominations: Outstanding Live Special – Championship Event for the 120th World Series featuring the New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, Outstanding Studio Show – Weekly and Outstanding Studio Show – Limited Run. Additionally, the network’s special presentation of MLB at Rickwood Field: A Tribute to the Negro Leagues was honored with Outstanding Live Special – Non-Championship Event.
FOX Sports’ state-of-the-art Soccer Palace for UEFA Euro 2024™ and CONMEBOL Copa América 2024™ earned three nominations, recognizing the groundbreaking technical innovation put forth to execute coverage of the two simultaneous global events.
Additionally, several FOX Sports on-air personalities were acknowledged for their outstanding work in 2024, including Joe Davis, Greg Olsen, Bill Raftery, Tom Rinaldi, and John Smoltz.
