Eric Wilson, Former Vice President of Finance & Operations, Named Partner with Serra Ventures, LLC

Serra Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm and consulting service providers to middle market companies, announced the week of March 2^nd that Eric Wilson, currently VP of Finance and Operations, will transition into the new role of Partner with Serra, and will head up its expanding M&A business in the Serra Advisors division of the company.

Throughout his tenure with Serra, Eric has orchestrated numerous successful M&A transactions, for portfolio companies and non-portfolio companies. Serra is doubling down on its commitment to M&A advisory services based on the principle that meaningful exit transactions are the most important thing that can be achieved for investors and company founders.

Eric is a graduate from Baylor University, with experience in organizational communication, human resources, operations management, and business strategy. Before joining Serra Ventures in July 2013, Eric helped launch a seven-unit franchise business in Texas, which was managed by Serra Ventures, LLC until its acquisition by another franchisee in 2020. He served as the General Manager of each new store within the company, focusing on hiring and training personnel, inventory management and cash handling procedures. Eric went on to earn a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. In his tenure at Serra, Eric has performed a variety of duties, ultimately rising to the position of Vice President of Finance & Operations, overseeing all operations of the management company and financial management of the venture capital funds.
