New Book Release: “Worthy Is the Lamb“ Explores Revelation’s Timeless Battle Between Good and Evil
Crescent Springs, KY Pastor Roland England proudly announces the release of his latest book, “Worthy Is the Lamb,” which delves into the Book of Revelation as a powerful cosmic drama set in the First Century Roman Empire, highlighting the struggle between good and evil, truth and deception. Now available at major booksellers and online retailers, “Worthy Is the Lamb” encourages readers to embrace the enduring message of Revelation—a call to resist darkness and maintain unwavering faith, even in the face of suffering and deceit.
In “Worthy Is the Lamb,” Revelation is depicted as an intricately designed drama, patterned after the Greek dramas of the era. Jesus, the slain hero-Lamb, stands at center stage; the arch-villain red dragon, being unable to overcome the Lamb, attacks the Lamb’s followers. They must choose between good and evil, truth and lies, the Lamb or the dragon. This is a battle featuring competing loyalties and testimonies. Through symbols and visual imagery, a new world emerges where devotion to the Lamb, not the dragon’s evil and darkness, has the last word.
Drawing on 47 years of ministry experience, Pastor Roland England sheds light on the central themes of the Book of Revelation: resisting evil, holding fast to faith in God, and challenging the falsehoods that continue to persist in our modern world. The Lamb remains at the heart of a battle reflected in the daily choices of ordinary people. This book provides thought-provoking insights relevant to both ancient and contemporary audiences.
“My hope is that ‘Worthy Is the Lamb’ will encourage readers to remain firm in their faith and oppose the evil we encounter in our lives,” says Pastor England. “Revelation isn’t just a historical text—it’s a timeless reminder of the importance of keeping faith and staying true to our values.” With over four decades of pastoral leadership, He has guided United Church of Christ congregations and is the founding pastor of Christian Community Church in Northern Loudoun County, Virginia.
His extensive knowledge of scripture and his commitment to serving his community have shaped this book, which offers readers both spiritual guidance and practical wisdom to withstand modern challenges. For sixty years, his motto has been, "Keep on keeping on"
“Worthy Is the Lamb” is available now on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
