Chyron Announces Extension To BTI Technology Partner Ship For Channel Box

Chyron Corporation (OTC BB: CYRO) has today announced an addition to its technology partnership with Business Technology, Inc. (BTi), a leading provider of automated broadcast graphics applications.

The relationship, which already sees BTi bundle its DataBridge service with Chyron’s DynaCrawl dual-ticker, time, temp, weather and logo graphics display system, will now extend to Chyron’s Channel Box HD/SD-switchable branding and automated promo system. DataBridge for DynaCrawl and Channel Box provides broadcasters with an easy-to-use, web-based, point-and-click service that delivers a reliable stream of operator-selected real-time news and information formatted specifically for SD, HD and HD/SD-switchable system configurations.

DataBridge for the DynaCrawl and Channel Box systems uses the DataBridge service from BTi to give broadcasters access to a deep menu of information feeds from top data providers, including international, national and local news, sports, weather, entertainment news and more. A simple, secure web user interface, accessible from anywhere, makes adding or changing a data stream as easy as selecting it from the menu. Changes occur instantly, giving broadcasters the flexibility to meet any information delivery requirement. A flat annual subscription fee provides complete, continuous access to the entire menu of information sources. Playout licenses are offered on a per-device basis.

DataBridge from BTi is a fully managed data service that insulates broadcasters from typical data provider pitfalls, such as changing news wire data codes, by continuously updating itself in the background. BTi continuously monitors the entire service from its own data center to the broadcaster’s local server, ensuring maximum “up-time.” Built-in monitoring and robust redundancy strategy ensures seamless, uninterrupted data flow.
