“3000 Miles of Separation” is a drama following Beverly as she experiences the harrowing of life and relationships. After waiting for nearly three years to marry the love of her life, Beverly learns that Daryl dumped her. Daryl returns from the military, but not to her and her son. He only wants to use his son, Ryan, as a pawn. Devastated, Beverly decides to disappear with his son and vows that Daryl will never see them again. Ryan grows up asking about his father. With this, Beverly has to revisit some memories she plans on burying to oblivion. Will she open her heart and forgive Daryl? Will she find the courage to face the challenge and love again?

Author’s Biography:

Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Long Island City, Dee started her life’s journey by serving eight years in the United States Air Force. She found her calling as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist after graduating from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, WA. After a span of 16 years in Washington State, she relocated to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and accepted a position with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. She worked independently in the microbiology research laboratory and retired after 30 years of service. Dee had always dreamed of becoming a writer, and retirement helped her revisit this passion. Her other interests include organic gardening, cooking, reading, and traveling.
