Sean Nelson, an author and illustrator, educates children through his Bungles book series, introducing conservative principles and focusing on the contrasts between liberalism and conservatism. Inspired by Rush Limbaugh’s quote about “young skulls full of mush,” he aims to simplify complex ideologies for young minds. Sean’s journey from liberal to conservative began in 1993 while in the Air Force, sparking his passion for conservative studies and children’s education. The idea for Bungles books emerged in 2000 when he named a stuffed bunny after his daughter, Amber. Sean, who has been happily married for 26 years and has four kids and five grandkids, resides in Florida.
