Plantation, FL -- July 7, 2005
Partnership with Inc. Magazine Provides Information and Resources for Dedicated Small Business Resource Center.

DHL, the world’s leading global express delivery and logistics company, announced that it plans to continue its long-standing support of small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. through a new partnership with Inc. magazine, the leading business publication that focuses on small-to-mid size businesses (SMBs). The new DHL-Inc. partnership will focus on developing content, information and resources for DHL’s Small Business Resource Center.

“Small and mid-sized businesses need access to information in order to succeed in a highly competitive marketplace,” said Martin Mosley, Director of Marketing, Small and Mid-size Business, for DHL. “In addition to enhancing our domestic and international service portfolio, and making it more convenient for SMBs to access information about their DHL shipments, we want to go a step further and provide a solid knowledge base to help these businesses succeed. DHL’s partnership with Inc. magazine will allow users of the DHL Small Business Resource Center to leverage the expertise and resources of both companies from a single source.”

The DHL Small Business Resource Center, available at DHL’s newly redesigned DHL USA web site (www.dhl-usa.com), is an online resource for SMBs to gather peer-to-peer knowledge, as well as access online tools, reference guides and special offers. It serves as a database for sharing knowledge, best practices and other topics of interest to SMB business owners, in support of their day-to-day business needs.

Each month, Inc.’s content for the DHL Small Business Resource Center will focus on timely and relevant topics of interest, providing information on the issues that are most important to the fast-growing small business community in the U.S. According to Inc., SMBs are responsible for more than half the nation’s gross domestic product and 70% of its new jobs. Information and advice covering virtually every business and management task of interest to SMBs, including marketing, sales, finding capital, managing people, and more, will be developed by the editorial expertise of Inc. magazine.

In July, the Resource Center will cover topics designed to advise customers on a few key growth challenges, including:
- How to evaluate and select appropriate advisors and other external resources to help guide business growth
- Attracting and recruiting top prospects, as well as how to create a positive corporate culture that motivates employees
- And assessing the potential of doing business internationally, as well as key tools and services offered by DHL for those going global.

The DHL Small Business Resource Center will also showcase DHL SMB customers whose success offers learning opportunities for small businesses nationwide. In addition, DHL will offer tips to help customers make informed shipping decisions through relevant information and expert opinions, including information on DHL’s online shipping services, setting up a DHL account, payment options, tracking, billing and invoicing, loyalty and referral programs, and DHL product and partner promotions.
