Guests at Four Seasons Resort Lanai will have an exciting new dining outlet to enjoy during their next escape to the secluded island.  The Resort announces a partnership with Nancy Silverton for the summer launch of her first restaurant in Hawaii. The acclaimed chef is known for Los Angeles eateries such as Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and chi SPACCA.

The dinner menu blends Silverton’s signature creations celebrating traditional Italian cuisine with fresh and seasonal island ingredients. Chef Eli Anderson will head up the culinary team, presenting favourites from the renowned trio of restaurants as well as new dishes with a nod to the local products from Hawaii.  Taste dishes including Chef Nancy Silverton’s famed Caesar with an Egg, Leek and Anchovy Crostini; Ricotta & Egg Raviolo with Browned Butter sauce; and Grilled Beef Tagliata with Rucola and Aceto Balsamico. Salads will feature fresh lettuces from nearby Sensei Farms while pasta is made with local eggs, producing a uniquely rich fresh pasta dough.

Silverton is the co-owner of the Mozza Restaurant Group, with locations including California, Los Cabos, London, Singapore and Riyadh. In 2014, she received the highest honour given by the James Beard Foundation for “Outstanding Chef” and was also listed as one of the Most Innovative Women in Food & Drink by both Fortune and Food and Wine magazines. More recently, she was profiled in Netflix’s award-winning docuseries Chefs Table and the Masterclass G.O.A.T. series. Author of eleven cookbooks, Silverton’s current title is The Cookie That Changed My Life, released in 2023 and included in the New York Times Bestseller List.

“Four Seasons Resort Lanai is one of the most beautiful places I’ve travelled to. Over the last several years, I’ve been fortunate to have cooked on each of the Hawaiian islands for various charitable events - I’m so delighted to finally have a home base in such a wonderful place. Many locals of Southern California travel to Lanai, so this is really such a great way to bring my flavours of Italy and Los Angeles to Hawaii,” says Silverton.

Prior to positions with Silverton, Chef Eli Anderson worked with chefs including Thomas Keller and Davide Oldani in the United States, as well as in international locales including Hong Kong, Italy, Sweden, Brazil and Mexico.   He loves the pureness of Italian cuisine and believes in accentuating the natural beauty and flavours of food without too much manipulation, something he shares with one of his biggest mentors, Nancy Silverton.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nancy and her culinary expressions to Lanai and provide our guests and residents with amazing new experience and dishes beloved by many around the globe,” shares Avi Phookan, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort Lanai.  “Osteria Mozza will join Nobu Lanai, Malibu Farm and other restaurants as well as our extensive catering offerings for weddings and events, ensuring a remarkable variety of dining options here at the Resort.”
