Christian Renewal Author E.O. Shiflett Sets Exhibit for Epic End-Times Novel About God’s Last Prophet at 2024 Hong Kong Book Fair

E.O. Shiflett had enjoyed a successful career as a tech executive, but he has also used that success to bolster faith-based Christian Renewal projects. Aside from planting churches, he had also just recently published Son of Enoch, an apocalyptic novel that will certainly appeal to like-minded believers who feel constantly at odds with today’s secular global culture. Shiflett has even gone as far as to have the book exhibited at the upcoming Hong Kong Book Fair 2024.

“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” - Revelation 1:3

E.O. Shiflett has had quite a storied career in the tech sector. He was an executive in fiber optics technologies, having held multiple patents and spearheading various business development programs. He has also been a prolific tech writer, having contributed to multiple books on fiber technologies and personally published various position papers.

However, he is also a serious man of faith and has been heavily involved in Christian Renewal. Among his various faith-based projects include serving on the boards of different non-profit organizations and directing several church planting initiatives.

In recent years, though, he has taken to using his writer’s pen to author a new work of Christian fiction titled “Son of Enoch: The Last Prophet”. To make sure this book goes far and wide, he has even arranged to exhibit in the upcoming Hong Kong Book Fair 2024 in the hopes of it reaching fellow Christians in other parts of the world.

“Son of Enoch” is essentially an End Times novel that once again explores the conflict between faith and the secular world. But in Shiflett’s case, he hopes his take on the conflict is more up-to-date and can speak to the heart of those who see only an ever-widening gap between today’s secular, tech-driven world and those in the church.

“Son of Enoch” follows a homeless man named Thomas Hunt who, on the verge of death, realizes that he has been chosen as God’s last prophet. Through the help of a pair of twins and an old flame, he sets off on his mission to change lives and show people that the power of the Holy Spirit is still very much alive.

Of course, secular forces from all over will inevitably clash with his mission, and various forms of their conflict will be shown all the way to the book’s conclusion.

Those who will be attending the Hong Kong Book Fair 2024 can expect “Son of Enoch: The Last Prophet” to be displayed at the self-publishing and book marketing company Readersmagnet. The book fair is slated for July 17-23, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
