OpenService Enterprise Event Management Portfolio Qualified as Blade.org Solution

SAVANNAH, Ga. - OpenService, Inc., a leader in Enterprise Event Management (EEM), has announced that their NerveCenter® and Security Management Center Solutions have been qualified as Blade.org solutions and are available for use with IBM BladeCenter servers.

In one customer success story, a major financial services institution has deployed NerveCenter on Solaris SPARC servers, integrated with Tivoli Netcool and HP OpenView. The combined management solution was recently migrated to an IBM BladeCenter system. “The customer experienced an order-of-magnitude increase in performance over the original implementation,” said Geoffrey Coulter, CTO, OpenService. “As a result, fewer less costly blade servers were used and the entire solution was contained in a single BladeCenter system requiring less space, less power and simpler cabling.”
