Barnes & Noble Announces Hardback as Their April Game of the Month

 Barnes & Noble announces Hardback as its Game of the Month pick for April. Step into the shoes of Penelope Quill, an aspiring 19th-century author working on a brand-new book in this captivating game of wordplay and wit. Hardback is the next chapter in deckbuilding games from the creators of best-seller Paperback, Fowers Games.

The objective of this family-friendly game is to gain points by creating words using a limited amount of letter cards. Each player begins the game with the same deck of eight cards and is dealt five cards on their turn. Words are then used as currency to obtain points, and the first player to reach thirty points wins the game. To stir up some fun plot twists along the way, players can trigger combinations by collecting letters within the same genre (Adventure, Horror, Mystery and Romance).
