Rev. Terry Matthews’ Hard-Hitting Book on Confronting One’s Deeply Buried Problems is Set for Exhibit at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2024

The L.A. Times Festival of Books will be exhibiting lots of books that seek to motivate and inspire. Rev. Terry Matthews’ book goes down a slightly different road. The book “Problems?” confirms there is much unsettlement in all our lives. The best approach to solving most issues is to first recognize them. This book is not a cure all; but a help all. It’s designed to assist us in coping with the plethora of issues we face daily.

“Like your morning coffee, trouble is always brewing and only God can offer you the protection you need in such unexpected, and turbulent times.”

It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books will have dozens of exhibits featuring self-help material. While a great majority of these will be all about self-affirmation and switching focus on the positive, Rev. Terry Matthews’ book “Problems?” takes a radically different approach.

In “Problems?” his book confronts the tendencies to make excuses, blaming everything on everybody from parents, our childhood, our education or lack of it, to cultural influences and even some of our own unseemly unfixable tendencies. But it’s never our fault.

In his experience, such an attitude always changes when crisis comes. Some make it out; some don’t.

Those who’d like to discover more about this can check out “Problems?” at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at booth 225 during the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2024. The book festival is scheduled for April 20-21, 2024 at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Get a copy today on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
