The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2024 is going to feature plenty of new guides on family living. However, the one by Emily K. Graham, Angel L. Vargas and John L. Graham, is especially focused on the trend of multi-generational households. Titled “Under One Roof: Creating Harmony for Multigenerational Living”, it offers perhaps one of the most exhaustive analyses of the recent societal, economic, and cultural shifts in American family life over the last 15 years.

Emily K. Graham is a licensed clinical social worker who decided to add her own findings on the mental health side based on her work with her private counseling practice.

Meanwhile, Angel L. Vargas contributes his expertise as a healthcare executive in one of the largest healthcare delivery systems in the U.S. as well as his experience with care-at-home settings spanning over nineteen years.
