PALO ALTO, CA - PayCycle, Inc. has announced newly added features that reflect the most recent input from its growing customer base of small business owners. The PayCycle team collects customer feedback from a variety of sources and releases new features and improvements to its easy and affordable service several times a year.

PayCycle provides payroll processing uniquely combined with the hands-on control that small business owners appreciate. No software downloads are required, and electronic services including direct deposit, federal and state employment tax payments, forms filing and W-2s are included at no extra charge.

“Every week we reach out to our customers, both the happy ones and the few that are less than satisfied. We find out what they love about PayCycle and what they would like improved. We find that our customers come up with the best ideas for improvements,” said Karen White, vice president of product management at PayCycle.

The number one most-requested feature, electronic payments and filings for state payroll taxes, have been extended to even more states, including completely paperless payroll in Georgia. PayCycle leads all on-demand payroll services by continuing to add paperless payroll support for more states. New support has been added for Iowa, Rhode Island, Arkansas and Utah as well.

According to the Aite Group, there are currently 1.9 million HSAs, and that number will grow to 11.2 million in 2010. Now, PayCycle supports both employee pretax contributions and employer contributions to HSAs, including W-2 reporting and unique state taxation.

“I really need HSA tracking support. My employees are switching to HSAs and I want to show these deductions on their virtual pay stubs at www.paycheckrecords.com,” requested Michelle Repecka, owner of Fibraplex Corporation in Celina, Tenn., and PayCycle customer.

Also a top request, PayCycle customers want a place to keep track of a variety of employee information, such as when they received their last raise, when they were last reviewed, etc. Now, there is a new “Add a Note” option on the Employee Overview for all employees. PayCycle customers can use the note function to keep track of anything they want to remember about each individual employee. Notes can be tied to a custom “to do” to provide alerts signaling when performance reports and other employee-related activities are due.
