Momentum around the Big Food Redesign Challenge builds with additional support from industry experts secured
The Big Food Redesign Challenge moved into its Production Phase with 71 organisations invited to bring over 160 of their products to life. Together, they are applying the Circular Design for Food Framework to put nature at the heart of their decision-making and in turn, address global challenges like climate change and biodiversity loss.
Now, Grupo Carrefour Brazil, one of the leading retailers in the region, joins UK-based Waitrose to support the process of bringing these products to market. The partnership aims to drive innovation and inspire action within the region’s food supply chain based on the principles of a circular economy
Further support to participants sees Vypr and Big Fish joining to offer their expertise. Vypr, a leading consumer insights and market research platform, will be offering 30 participants free support to test their products with customers, accelerating the process of bringing their products to market in early 2025. Big Fish, with extensive experience designing for some of the UK’s most recognised brands, will be working alongside the Foundation and the Challenge Retail Partners to design the in-store experience ahead of the Showcase Phase in 2025.
